Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the show last night! It was a lovely evening and I had a great time playing new songs. In fact, I enjoyed the experience even more than usual—I think I’m learning something deeper about how to convey emotion through my voice and how to connect and be present in the moment.

One of the best moments last night was a conversation I had with someone who has followed my career for the last 10 years. He asked me about my music and plans and said some things about my music to me that I will never forget—memories of when I first started up until now, what my music means to him, and what he sees next for me. It was so genuine and heartfelt and it went straight to my heart. As he was talking to me, I felt like what he was saying went even deeper than the words, like it was a very important message for me that I need to remember and honor. It was an unexpected gift that I will carry with me as I move forward with my music.
